Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. CCD is the religious education program for school age children not attending Catholic schools.

Lector (Reader)

Grades 9+

Reads the liturgy for mass.


Children's Choir ~ Ages 8-15; Adult choir 16+

Children’s choir sings once a month and during youth masses. 

Youth Group

Grades 5-12

Students meet to build leadership skills through service and participate in activities to grow in their faith.  Students also do fun field trips.

Church Picnic

Grades 5-12

Students help with the picnic activities.

Mass Altar Server

Grade 4+

Altar Serving is a ministry, a calling to serve Jesus and His Church in a special way. Altar Servers assist the priest during mass.


Grades 6-12

Dead Theologian Society.  Held at St. Charles Parish on Sunday nights.  Students learn about the Saints and have a social time.


Students who have been confirmed

Ushers greet people as they come into church, help with collections, assist with the offertory collection, and help assist people in and out of church.

Eucharistic Minister

Grades 11+

Eucharistic ministers, also called Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, help priests to prepare and to serve the Eucharist--Holy Communion--at Mass.
